Semi-OT >CompUSA shares carry a price-to-sales ratio of 0.23 -- value investors look for stocks that trade below 1 -- and their price-to-earnings ratio for the fiscal year ending in June is 17, well below that of its two main rivals, Best Buy (NYSE:BBY - news) and Circuit City (NYSE:CC - news) , which have P/Es of 26 and 31, respectively.< fnews.yahoo.com Nothing about AAPL but their fortunes are intertwined.

Besides, what programs are people running other than games on Windows that they need to have on the Mac? Macromedia Authorware new version Windows only. Dangerous sign. Tons of 3D Apps (Studio Max etc., anything OpenGL) Already lost. Desktop Video editing Apps (Three for every one on the Mac) They are loosing it here. Music Editing Software (") They are loosing it here. Business Applications (SAS) Already lost. Even Adobe is putting out Windows only software. This could end Apple. I think there are probably more Photoshop plugins for Windows available. Java - Macs don't run the latest version. Better Application building Apps on Windows. Doesn't mean I think they should try to develop an emulation system, although I'm still worried I may have to abandon the Mac platform to access the applications I need. Got my fingers crossed. Still like Apple way better than Windows.
