My district in Connecticut is 95% white and we had a black Republican for 3 terms whom the Dems ousted using dirty, racist commercials financed by big labor union money. The Dems have always used race to polarize the electorate, from the Civil War to the 1960's it was against blacks. In the 1960's they switched since they had lost the white vote anyway. Since then the Dems try to polarize against whites, using blatant racist appeals. But my district shows they will revert back given the opportunity.
