I have not backtested. Just started keeping track early this year. After a few more large corrections/rallies, I may start to notice something useful. Sorry I can't shed any light. The decisionpoint site has historical, graphical information on NH/NL and presents it with the NYSE prices(I think). Let me know if you need a link.

The top is always the most optimistic looking and the bottom is always the most pessimistic looking.

Now .. Things looked pretty pessimistic yesterday at close .. but we've seen much worse lately.

What was the volume like today? I've seen it, before, that a bottom is in place when you have a sharp uptick coupled with heavy volume.
