That was a full non-sequitur.

My district is 95% white and had a black Republican for six years until the Dems used racist ads against him. It had nothing to do with lying to pollsters, just lying in commercials.

Powell would be electable if he had Reagan's politics, instead of Nelson Rockefeller's.
