I have no idea how many of the misc. lasers for R&D were shipped, but if you assume there were 80, your numbers mean that they shipped around 100 this qtr., which sounds like a lot. Do you have any idea how many of these "miscellaneous" lasers were shipped?

No, I don't know how many they shipped prior to going public. They were in business for about 10 years, so the number is not insignificant.

Jay,

I dug up some numbers from their '96 10K. For years reported they
shipped:

Year Units
'95 34
'96 145
'97 460
'98* 285

Total 924 *(The '98 number is approximate for the first 3 Qs,
since they no longer report units)

So, you have about 76 lasers to split between Dec. 15 in the current
quarter and the years prior and through '94.
