Robbie...There will be Dems voting "for" on the floor of the House. There will be on the Senate floor as well. The incentive to wipe the slate clean and get this rid of the smell could cause those that want to survive the next election to vote him out. They are all political animals and the vote, when it is made, will be the one that most enriches the voter. That is why the certainty in the outcome is not certain. I wish it were.

You said that 45 Democratic Senators tell you all you need to know. It makes it sound that you think that Clinton can be thrown out by a majority vote in the Senate. He can not.

It takes a 2/3 majority in the Senate to throw out the president. It takes a simple majority in the house to impeach the president.

The 2/3 majority in the senate will be unlikely to be met.
