I'm not a tax advisor, so my advice is suspect. I still don't see your problem, as the wash sale rules do not apply to gains, which is what you appear to have.

Spots, Physical delivery of specific shares (in the absence of your documentation that you are substituting shares) is prima facie evidence that THOSE specific shares are the ones sold.

If you sell shares from Broker B, then you would trace those specific shares back, IMO, to see their cost.

Please reference any contradictory rule here.
