<<And you can't compare Vivus to Komag>>

Yes your right. Komag is losing and has been losing and will continue to lose a hell of a lot more money than Vivus ever has or ever will. Also, Komag is in technical default on an over 1/4 million dollar loan. Also, Komag has almost twice as many shares in its outstanding. Also, Komag is in a sector that is hurting badly as opposed to a hot and growing market. Also, Komag..........

Well I could go on but I don't want to bore you. Moral of the story is that when big money decides to viciously attack a stock it will do poorly despite the facts. And when big money decides to support a
stock it will do well despite the facts.

If Vivus could get Goldman to make a market in its stock we would be at 20 by the end of next month. Goldman has burned so many professional shorts in so many stocks that the smart shorts don't even play in their markets unless they want to lose money.

AlienTech: couldn't agree with you more regarding todays action. IMHO, it's becoming harder to hold this one down - it would appear that they almost lost it today after the floor returned from lunch. I have to believe that there is a contingent that wants to take this one higher, and today they were testing the waters to measure the competition. Regards. PS: Greetings to you too Mr. Tom Pope. The regulars around here don't die off, we just get older & dumber.
