Richie... I have no idea. The closer we get to this impeachment vote, the more difficult it is to know where we are going. I really don't think that if Clinton is impeached that the market is going to take it as hard as everyone may think. The market finished strong today, the S&P is up 2.30 right now, and CPQ put in a good showing today(although not as good as I thought it might have been in such a strong rally). All I can say is I ain't sellin'! It can't get much worse than what we CPQers went thru for the last year. El

Compaq Web Advisory: Compaq Lowers
Prosignia Desktop Prices Up to 7 Percent

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 1998--Continuing to lead the industry in price/performance
value and underscoring the benefits of its new Customer Choice model, Compaq Computer Corporation
(NYSE:CPQ - news) today lowered prices as much as 7 percent on its new Prosignia Desktop PCs(1).
These reduced prices are at or below similarly configured systems offered by other direct competitors(2)
and come just one month after Compaq forever changed the industry's competitive landscape with the
introduction of the Compaq Prosignia Family - a distinct brand of latest technology desktops,
notebooks, servers and solutions designed to meet the dynamic computing needs of small and
medium-sized business customers.

Sales of all Compaq Prosignia products have been almost three times stronger than the company had
originally anticipated. As clear testament to Compaq's Customer Choice model, these sales have been
evenly split between customers buying directly from Compaq and those who buy through local resellers
or Compaq's direct marketing partners. This high demand and balanced mix of purchasing choices
clearly demonstrate that today's SMB customers strongly value flexibility when choosing where and how
they spend their critical information technology dollars. For complete Compaq Prosignia configuration
choices, new pricing and purchasing details, visit Compaq DirectPlus Web site at:
www.directplus.compaq.com, call 800/888-9909 or contact your local Compaq authorized reseller of
choice.
