Pesticide salesman? Let's be accurate here, Michelle. Exterminator, turned terminator he hopes.

DeLay, a 51-year-old former pest exterminator from Sugar Land, Texas, is practically itching for a fight. "They tried to demonize Henry Hyde, they tried to demonize Linda Tripp, they tried to demonize Newt Gingrich, so I guess I'm the next candidate," said DeLay, whose nickname is the Hammer. "I'm ready for it." (http://www.nytimes.com/library/politics/120898impeach-delay.html)

How could anyone demonize Linda Tripp, when she's proven herself to be such a friend in need, indeed? Nothing like setting up your "friend" with the Grand Inquisitor No one expects the Spanish Inquisition, as Les might say if he regained his sense of humor. As for Newt, he had the good grace to accept responsibility for his "professional, non-partisan" handling of the affair. The Hammer pounds on, though. He's out there, individually informing all the wavering Republican Congressman what he used to do with cockroaches, and how they'll feel much worse than the cockroaches did, if they cross him. After he tells them to vote their conscience, of course.

Cheers, Dan.
