things don't look too good right now. angola pulling out a lot of troops over the weekend, zimbabwe facing heavy casualties also from the offensive in the east and mounting pressure and problems at home. economic situation is really down in the dumps, worse and worse by the day. don't know how long the people will support this. they will demand change, and fast. question is, who will lead??

kabila is losing popularity and support. neighbouring congo is very unstable, with rebels close to brazzaville. apparently they are being backed by the americans, and the french are okay with that since sassou-nguesso is not popular there either. with americans supposedly pulling the strings there, who knows if they will pull a few here.
