ABC News is constantly running negative stories about Monsanto. Not sure why, somehow they must be connected with AHP, DuPont, or another of Monsanto's many enemies.

A short while ago ABC News was also running stories on the "horrors" of bioagriculture, citing Monsanto as well. The story was scientifically unsound.

As for this specific story, it is also scientifically unsound. To wit, just because you give something to an animal, and it develops a condition, it doesn't mean you will develop the same condition if you eat that animal...

The fear here is similar to the fear of eating irradiated or microwaved food. Sure, it isn't a good idea for YOU to be irradiated or microwaved...

Amateur,

<P.S.: Doesn't all BGH milk have to be labeled?>
No, BGH is not labeled at all. Some milk producers such as Clover Stornetta here in the Bay Area have it labeled as NOT having rBST. They have to put a disclaimer that says, "Our opposition is not necessarily based on any health issue. The FDA has tested rBST treated milk very rigorously and has found it to be identical to non rBST milk."

John

Yes, I had a Gallon in the fridge and read it off that! Our neighborhood store carries Clover for all their dairy products.
