I just read a lot. Even if Bush beats him in the polls now; don't underestimate the power of incumbency. In the house this last go round; I think 98 percent of incumbents were re-elected.

But Americans do seem to like Gore. From what I understand you need a 2/3 majority in the Senate to remove the President. This surely doesn't look like happening and Clinton won't resign ever....
