Ahhaha, Good to have you back! I'd like to tap into your view of the mind of the FCC to answer a question that has been troubling me. As I understand it, the wires that carry ATHM are in many places by government decree the only wires that can carry TV to the home. The use of the wires for TV obviously financially supports their existance and therefore supports the use of the wires for internet. How can it be seen as "fair" to have this government "advantage" given to a company like ATHM which is essentially joint owned by most of the major cables? Eric

Like I said get over it. Large monopolistic corporations need to be checked because they have the power of governments. They can hire their own police and make their own laws, declare war and take over countries -- if we let them. We live in a representative democracy therefore we control the government not the other way around. Sure we may not do the best job of it but the option of throwing the current bums out of office is there to be used. Capitalism has proven to be the best system in general for the creation and distribution of wealth. But it is not a religion that we must worship as you apparently do.
