John: For one thing just because CPQ cut prices by a few bucks is not going to hurt DELL,if it were true Dell wouldn't be where they are today.I don't think 'cheap' price is one of DELL strengths and I also don't think anybody is buying Dell's products because they are cheap.

Also another thing to look at closely is the total cost of ownership and DELL fairs very well here,corporations normally make their decisions based on this rather than anything else,don't know about individuals though.

Any way we should have an answer to your question in numbers by the middle of Feb.
