MILPITAS, Calif., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Read-Rite Corporation (Nasdaq: RDRT - news) today announced it is shipping magnetoresistive (MR) heads for Western Digital's 4.3 GB per platter hard disk drive program. Read-Rite's shipment of headstacks to Western Digital, containing 2 to 6 MR heads, commenced last month. The headstacks are incorporated into Western Digital's Caviar desktop program supporting drive capacities ranging from 4.3 GB to 13 GB.
