Good guess Mads. Remember, it was Avalon's plan, originally, to offer various health care information, products and services via a network of kiosks with information being disseminated (and collected from users of the kiosks) over the Internet. The company may have gotten off the track a bit and lost their focus due to some unexpected interest in their kiosk technology, but they've had obvious difficulty closing sales of units and I think they're better off trying to come up with the "killer app" rather than going door-to-door (figuratively speaking) selling kiosks. In fact, I'm not sure that, with the help of AHS's funding and consulting advice, they haven't already done just that.

I agree with you. The concept of a normal Kiosk and its application as a stand alone non interactive unit has long gone. Information, service and internet access or information access certainly seems to be where sales are happening.

The company certainly has gone through various transitions and I suspect the business plan model will soon be clear. As 1998 comes to an end we look to the future and hopefully Avalon and their associates can play an important role. There is little doubt that we are in the information age. Speed of product development along with speed of implementation is very important. How this company uses its products to take advantage of the current business environment will tell the story. The involvement of AHS and how they participate will hopefully soon be clear.
