LindyBill, Just as you had stated -- I heard this morning that they will vote thursday but if the debate is prolonged, it may take place Friday. So my guess is a Friday vote or a deal on Thursday (if one can be salvaged by Clinton - what a ride the markets will get if this happens). I hope you are right that there will be short term volatility. I guess if you just buy shares, there should be no problem. In my case, I might be looking to get out of options, at least the January calls). I have already unloaded some and picked up more shares of MSFT.
