I am only just starting on this McClellan stuff. The summation index seems pretty easy to use. When it peaks and heads down the index is going to be heading down. The current peak is lower than the previous two. Looking over the last 70 years on the site this is very bearish. It looks like bear markets end when there is a new higher peak.

But I am sure someone else on the thread can explain this more.
