Mike you are usually a pretty reasonably guy .Why the hell do you keep bringing up Baldwin? He's a nut ok. I have no more interest in talking about a nut.If you think that these unfortunate incidences are just something for your side to use to make political hay you are almost as bad as Les.I didn't hear this much noise from you when the abortion doctor got ambushed.

<<Now, in your mind substitute the name Al Gore or Hillary Clinton for Henry Hyde and the
name of a conservative for Baldwin. What kind of reaction would the media establishment
be expressing?>>

Good grief, what kind of reaction indeed!

Of course, same goes for what the media reaction would be if it were a Republican philandering President who perjured himself against women he'd been involved with. This is so plain it's glaring. Instead liberals wish to paint Congressmen for impeachment as engineering a take over of the executive branch! They want to suggest our right to sexual freedom is to be harmed if Clinton is removed- but the evidence here precludes such a thing from being so. History will reflect on these matters well and soundly as has happened for Nixon.
