To JGoren: If so, good for Qualcomm but not so good for Nokia. Does seem like the CDMA ASICs are difficult to produce and install successfully. Motorola with all its chip experience has had great difficulty manufacturing CDMA ASICs. Nokia seems to be the top phone handset designer and manufacturer, so seems strange that Nokia is still having trouble with CDMA ASICs, but of course major Nokia experience is with analog, TDMA and GSM. As a long term Texas Instruments fan, I am very interested in TXN's successful participation in wireless with its DSPs and other chips. Have found it interesting that this SI board seems silent (until recently at least) on TXN's wireless participation in the rapidly expanding CDMA wireless technology worldwide. Any further comment from any of you tech savy persons here? Chaz
