betty, Those of us "die hard" longs who intend to let this whole thing play itself out realize that we eventually will be vindicated. But I am sure we feel that we should have waited until NOW to take a position. Now we have to wait some time just to recoup our losses while those who jump in now IMO should be handsomely rewarded if they are willing to just take a position and then sit on it for at least 6 to 12 months. Vivus was able to lose almost 30 points in about 2 months when it fell from its highs in October of '97 to its gap down in December. If it could fall 30 points in 2 months, I don't see why it can't gain 10 points in 2 months if everything starts to fall into place.
