Thanks for re-inviting me Gustave: [Its already been two years since U last invited me, so i wouldn't mind another invitation -g-]

I am no financial analyst. [Though sometimes i act like that around the dinner table. And again who wouldn't?-g-] I am a software guy.

I had to change my identity to the one that u see cus of some work that i undertook and the future that I am planning for myself.

Right now the feeling around the beltway is so bad...i would rather be in a capital on some other planet. Slick is killing us!

Couple of months ago, I was there for ODIS free demo etc. MSFT was there talking about their COM integration. The time distribution was such that they (MSFT) were acting like they own ODI. Well, I would not mind if it is for a decent price.

I am waiting for the ODI to be a big contender.

Do u see the downward pressure today? And did u see AMZN? Wow wow!

Place your bets on next year's Titans battle: Oracle8i vs. ObjectStore

Based on the likely increase in Oracle's revenue of $1.5B next year, and ODIS' current annual revenues of about $60M, I am forecasting that for every $1 of new revenues that ODIS gets, Oracle will get $20 (that is in the happy scenario that ODIS doubles its revenues, something I'm not even sure whether the management aspire to these days).

When you look at it that way, the "battle of the Titans" is more of a David and Goliath match.
