Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe

hoovers.com

Investment firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe is one of the nation's largest sources of private equity, pumping capital into health care and financial-information companies. Welsh Carson owns online provider Bridge Information Systems (which is acquiring Dow Jones' financial information service), Knight Ridder Financial, and more than 30 other companies. Welsh Carson's low-profile financing and sponsorship has created major publicly traded health care companies such as American Oncology Resources, physician practice management company OccuSystems, National Surgery Centers, and Lincare Holdings, a provider of oxygen and other respiratory therapy to in-home patients.

Picked up a bunch more of TSIG at $0.40 (now my equivalent is $0.33). The more I read into this thread, I am becoming more and more aware of the potential of this fine company! Great investment IMO!
