If you're referring to their internal usage numbers, surely I'd agree with you... but if you are talking about the usage stats for the greater 'net, then I'm not so sure. There's too much diffusion, and at the same time integration, taking place right now in the various cloud strata to even be able to discern boundaries and delimit categories both at the application levels and their underlying technologies, I think.

If we on the Last Mile board, the best of the best right here in SI, can't come up with even a relevant taxonomy of network "types" and usage classifications, for starters, then how on Earth could we ever expect our elected officials and their appointees to do so? ;-)
