Inc. (Nasdaq/NM:BAMM) today announced that it plans to acquire
NetCentral, Inc. of Nashville, TN. NetCentral, Inc. is an Internet
development and services company specializing in Internet commerce
solutions. NetCentral, Inc. was responsible for the design and
development of the newly enhanced BOOKSAMILLION.COM website.
Commenting on the acquisition, Books-A-Million, Inc. President
and Chief Executive Officer Clyde B. Anderson said, "NetCentral's
technical and creative capabilities were instrumental in the
development of BOOKSAMILLION.COM, and we are extremely pleased to have
them as part of our team. This acquisition will greatly enhance our
efforts to support our growing e-commerce business at BOOKSAMILLION.COM."
