HN; Thanks for article. This development was predicted several years ago, as I recall; its actually been a little slow in coming. Altough its disappointing for those of us who see biotechnology as holding great promise for mankind as well as profits for investors, its the reality of the market discipline which is so much touted. A bit of silver lining is that the high barriers to entry increase the profits of the successful ones. May Vical and Ligand be among them. David
