I tried to short a number of internet stocks today - unable to find shares on Datek or Dreyfus. This tells me the MM's have a bunch of them and merely drove stocks up the first 1/2 hour today to make everyone feel secure heading into tomorrow. I placed an order to buy SEEK at $36.00 which sounds absurd. But Nov. 30th should remind everyone that the MM's really control the movement of these stocks. You can ride them up and down or sell into the news and buy into the panic. Todays market should be interesting - I've got to believe themarket will close down today based on tomorrow's news.
