JEFF: The Market I am usually fully invested in stocks but this morning, for the first time in a very long while I decided to go all cash. I have a bad feeling about the next few days. It looks like we might bomb IRAQ again, earnings warnings are coming out now and of course the whole presidential uncertainty. While I do not think Clinton will be ousted from office it does seem very likely that he will be impeached and that this whole matter will be sent to the Senate to deal with. These factors in combination seem to spell alot of doubt and worry to me and that is why I think this is one of the more dangerous times we have seen recently in the market. If there is a nasty correction soon I dont think it will last too long and I will be ready to jump back into the market hopefully next week. After all it is holiday time, there seems to be tremendous internet retail sales and January (a notoriously good month) is just around the corner. What do you think?

TRADE: Got 5000 ASCT at 4 3/8. This is a position hold for next two weeks. May add more on dips. Giving TokyoMex the benefit of the doubt on this one. Rumored to be a buyout at 10, but ASCT asking for more. This is just a rumor as of now but I have never seen TM so sure about one of his rumor picks before. Do not play this just for a quick trade or an overnighter. One source has the buyout happening just after X-mas but there are no guarantees. A worthy risk as far as I am concerned. I am breaking a few of my rules by doing this but for decent reasons IMO. Be careful if you decide to play.....you will probably be able to catch a dip when the "newness" of this rumor wears off, perhaps in the mid 3s. If nothing else, it gets me out of the market for a bit so I can concentrate on other items including the "Specialists". Trade well. TJ
