Financial Intranet Appoints Vice Presidents of Finance and Technology ARDSLEY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 16, 1998--Financial Intranet, Inc. (OTCBB:FNTN) today announced the appointment of Alan M. Ross as Vice President of Finance and Administration, and Alan Spar as Chief Technical Officer/Vice President of Technology. Alan Ross, who takes responsibility for the Company's financial activities including all SEC reporting when this becomes effective, was most recently VP, Finance and Treasurer of IQI, Inc., a privately held database telemarketing service company, in NYC. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller of PaperDirect, Inc. His 25 years of business experience includes extensive work in financial planning and analysis at CBS Inc., as well as the position of Chief Financial Officer of several companies in the media/publishing, database information and direct marketing industries. These include the Donnelley Marketing/Carol Wright divisions of Dun & Bradstreet, MRCA Information Services and American Family Publishers. A CPA since 1972, he began his career with the accounting firm of Arthur Young and Company after serving as an infantry officer with the U.S. Army Advisory Command in Vietnam (MACV). He has an MBA in accounting from Xavier University and a BA in business administration from Rutgers University. Ross is an active member of the Financial Executives Institute, AICPA and NY State Society of CPAs, and has been listed in Who's Who in Finance and Industry. Alan Spar, FNTN's newly appointed Chief Technology Officer/Vice President of Technology, is responsible for the management of FNTN's technology alliances, and for the development and management of new technology applications. Spar was most recently Founder, President and CEO of SparTek, a Web production and engineering company. SparTek managed projects for clients such as Netscape, Panavision New York and Dow Jones. Previously, Spar was a Technical Producer and Engineer at Netscape Communications Corp. At Netscape, Spar was responsible for the technical design and implementation of the Netscape Search Page; the technical design and implementation of Netscape Destinations, a guide to Netscape's customers and technology; Netscape's advertising production process; the development of Netscape's software download area; and the Dev Edge private Web site, the developer program's showcase for new technology. Spar holds a B.S. in Information Systems from SUNY at Stony Brook.
