No that's not how it works. ARCA pays the price you tell it to pay. If the stock is offered at 21 and you say pay 21 it goes out at 21. We don't try the bid first. If you say pay 21 ½ we try everyone up to 21 ½, all at the same time if you have enough size. If you put the order in at market, we try best offers first than move up. At no point do we try to buy on the bid before executing or routing your order.
