CORRECTED - AT&T ups top WorldNet Internet
price

In December 15 story headlined ''AT&T(NYSE:T - news)raises top WorldNet Internet
access price,'' read first paragraph ...set a new top-tier monthly price for its WorldNet
Internet access service of $21.95... instead of ...hiked its monthly price for unlimited service by $2 ....

In second paragraph add ...which was not for unlimited service.

(Corrected to indicate that it set a new top-tier plan for an unlimited service. Previously it did not have an unlimited service
plan)

A corrected version follows.

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Dec 15 (Reuters) - AT&T Corp. on Tuesday set a new top-tier monthly price for its WorldNet
Internet access service of $21.95, bringing it in line with that of industry leader America Online Inc. (NYSE:AOL - news)

AT&T WorldNet Service, the country's second largest Internet service provider (ISP), will charge $21.95 a month for
all-you-can-surf service, $2 higher than its previous top-tier plan, which was not for unlimited service.

AOL, the largest ISP, announced a similar price increase in February.

In March, WorldNet eliminated its $19.99 flat-fee unlimited Internet use plan and begin charging customers a fee for use after
150 hours per month, in a move to combat high usage levels by a small percentage of its customers.

AT&T WorldNet also expanded the features it offers under its new unlimited plan, which it says targets heavy users and
families with multiple Web surfers.

New features include multiple e-mail addresses on a single account and a total of 30 megabytes of space for personal web
pages.

WorldNet continues to offer lower-tiered options, including 10 online hours for $9.95, and the $14.95 promotional pricing
plan which includes 150 hours of Internet access.

Additionally, WorldNet has added an instant messaging feature, which lets members trade voice and text messages with
anyone on the Internet regardless of their online service provider.

AT&T WorldNet said it has about 1.3 million members.
