African summit moved to December 27-28,

Zambian President Frederick Chiluba
announced on Wednesday that the touch-and-go summit in
Lusaka to resolve the current conflict in the Democratic
Republic of Congo will now be held from December 27-28.
This week's meeting failed to materialise because several
presidents who were to participate, including OAU secretary
general Salim Ahmed Salim, had conflicting schedules.
Chiluba made the announcement shortly before his departure
for Ouagadougou, for the OAU conflict resolution meeting,
also expected to discuss the DRC war.
