The etail moves by Kmart, Costco, WallMart, etc., etc. are seen more as defensive moves that only serve to validate Amazon's glowing future rather than as competition (that is if investors even know about it at all). The time to short this stock may be this week for a quick play but it's not safe until at least after the split. Watch out for options expirations periods.
