Thanks Steve and BILL CHOW. Should be entertaining if nothing else. Need something to do while waiting for the BUY signal. I'll probably be out a lot today and tomorrow (husband's days off) - hope I don't miss the DING, DING, DING moment this time!

Steve,

I am not a follower of VG but when VG came up on this thread last night I decided to look at some of his/her postings. I did not bookmark the profile because it struck me that this was a person _trying_ to come across as having English as a second language.

During my grad student days I taught classes at a small private college for two semesters. There were a number of students from Asia in two of my classes so I got to see first-hand the writing style (essays and term papers) of these students. Different grammatical errors and sentence structure than found in postings of VG.

BTW, it has been my experience that people whose first language is not an Endo-European language often write English better than they speak it. It has to do with book-learning English in school where the emphasis is on reading and writing rather than speaking.
