<What's wrong with this stock ?>

Oh, a defiant Saddam Insane, a defiant Bill "Define Sex" Clinton, a defiant Henry "Impeachment is Cool" Hyde, you get the drift.

<Look at Intel, which is holding very well ..>

AMD is historically more volatile than bellweather Intel.

<<What's wrong with this stock ?

It's in freefall !

5% losses every day ?

What gives ?

Bad news coming ? >>

Are you a short term trader or long term investors? If you want to play short term the MM will psyche you out till you sell at a loss. If you believe can compete well next year with Intel and make money then buy. One way to play the market is that to ignore dropping in price at low volume. What you have to worry is that big drop with big volume. That means the institutions are dumping. This Friday is option expiration. I expect it to drop to 27 1/2 or less. It is time for me to buy more to anticipate Q4 earnings. Good Luck.

Jean,

Re: "What's wrong with this stock ?"

First, AMD has inferior IC process technology ... Secondly, Intel's
Celeron is beating AMD on the low end ... Finally, AMD has Jerry for CEO. <ggg>
