LT, I care the herd does not. more tough love for da gamblers( bankers and hedge funds) AG & co can bail out specific banks, funds, countries but he cannot bail out the system . At some point he will be shooting blanks. I just heard Bob Pisani say something about weak earnings already priced into the mkt! really ? I wonder how many future layoffs, defaults, delinquencies are priced into the mkt. I guess all bad news is discounted but stocks have yet to reflect the taming of the business cycle, the notion that the US will remain an island of prosperity, that credit growth is limited only by demand and we need not worry about a debtors ability to pay, Asia on the mend, Japan's stimulus and reform pkg. i'm sure i missed a few but i do not watch bubble vision very often. No wonder some call it CNBS and the Wall St infomercial. ho ho ho Mike

LT, Brazil, the largest economy in Latin America, is a specific problem, not indicative of anything else. <G>

BTW, last time I was there, I saw some Brazilians on Ipanema I wouldn't mind spanking. <G>
