It is not just the impeachment, idiot! It is the enormous amount of money, time and energy that the Republicans have wasted in the House (and are now going to waste in the Senate) over this issue. Most importantly, it is the majority party in the Congress squandering its mandate and failing to get anything done on issues of public policy. Come year 2000, the Repubs will have absolutely nothing to hold up as their achievements, other than this insane circus of theirs that they ran for two full years.
