Then, after you have the remaining 46% and spend it on goods and most services they tax you again 7% for Goods and Services Tax (Federal) and a further 7% for BC Provincial Sales Tax. It is ludicrous, the Liberals and NDP are just plain blood suckers who don't know what makes the global economy tick. I am waiting for the next elections and will be campaigning hard to oust the socialist elements in favor of right wing, hopefully Reform. A big problem for the Federal parties is the federal deficit which is HUGE per capita. Any successor government will have to continue to deal with the accumulated deficit. Did you know that when the Federal Government began to apply deficit financing that Pierre Trudeau was PM and his Finance Minister was...........none other than Jean Cretien!!!!!. Cretien when campaigning in the last Fed Election couldn't answer the most basic economic questions. He should have been able to if he has any salt as a "Finance Minister"....but then........maybe he doesn't. Wrong again....he doesn't. His broken promises and distortions are going to catch him up big time next time around......just my opinion. When is MGR going to get off the pot.... Best regards, Ron E
