Good points, Michelle. But don't expect his response to be any more than "sordid left-wing liberal extremism" or some such crap...

Re: the impeachment drama, I hope and pray that ALL the 4 articles of impeachment will pass in the House. The more, the messier. And the messier, the merrier! :-)

I think the Republicans are in a terrible situation once the issue reaches the Senate... They are damned if Clinton is removed from office. For, that will leave Gore in office for at least a year and he will have the benefit of incumbency working in his favor in the year 2000 elections. And if they try to unseat Gore if he gets to be President, they will cover themselves with even more ignominy than they have already (one may wonder how that is possible, but I'm sure they can manage it! :-))

They are also damned if Clinton is not removed from office. For, all these months of effort and... what's the result? The guy continues to be President! And if they make the mistake of passing any anti-abortion law and the President vetoes it, that will be a resounding slap on their faces! (Since they seem to be guided only by their rabid fanaticism and not by any kind of logic, I won't at all be surprised if they shoot themselves in the foot a few more times on the abortion issue before the year 2000).

So, whichever way you slice it, things are looking good for the Democrats and terrible for the Republicans.

I was referring to the disparity in their relative positions (no pun intended). The disparity issue is one that the plaintiff's attorney usually makes a big deal of in a sex harrassment case. Of course you probably could not pick that up from your favorite legal research tool, the "legal" shows you watch on TV thus accounting for your complete ignorance as usual. JLA

PS In the spirit of true bipartisanship I would admit that Linda Tripp is also an ugly, fat ass just like your hero Susan MacDougal.
