We can thank the WH spin machine for now, nearly a year of obstruction, delay, obfuscation, and outright lying. That's why it has continued for so long, and indeed is central to their strategy. Hunker down, admit nothing and let the constant droning of scandal wear the populace down. Fortunately, it is not in the hands of the "populace" to bring about the constitutional remedy for a president accused of criminal acts.
