Samg: Ignore that bit about 2/3 rds majority. A simple majority in the Senate would force Clinton to resign, it's that simple. He could not politically or morally remain in office if a majority in both the House and the Senate voted in favour of impeachment. That's why the key vote is the one being held in the House of Representatives. If they vote to impeach, Clinton is done. The President, as Chief Executive, could not possibly continue to lead, if the Legislature of the country, (Congress), has repudiated his leadership.
