"HMO's are IMHO the biggest parasites in America today. They provide no patient care, but steal(yes steal) from the providers taking care of the patient, and steal from the patient the service they often need. I will be SO happy if one day the majority in this country can in some way be illuminated to the fact that these people do nothing for the patient but take there money that should be buying them state of the art medical treatments"

Somehow, we need to let all American know what HMO have done to us. the premium they paid does not go to DOC anymore, they all went to HMO for their widening profit margin while they keep cutting the quality of Care to patient and continuing decreasing reimbursement to DOC. HMSA just lowered their fee to certain providers. AA two year degree is flooding into hospital to take over BA and Master. In some hospitals here, 2 year degree respiratory therapists are doing A line insertion which should have been performed by DOC. Quality of care is definitely decreasing during the last few years as those medical staff are less trained, and I see a futher decreasing if we don't wake up and get rid of those HMO companies. I refuse to invest in any HMOs! I hope you all agree with me.
