OT OT OT The Sunshine State Your Hi-techness, I cannot imagine why you would disparage our technical prowess here in snowbirdland. Last report has "sparky" [nickname for the state's 50 year old electric chair] working fine again - no more "slow burn" syndrome. Also, the drawbridge over the intracoastal waterway that I must cross every morning and evening is being replaced by a new $60 million unit that is actually 8 feet taller than the old one. After three interminable years of construction, that means there will be one less time every day that 5,000 cars have to wait 20 minutes while Ivana Trump steams by on the lil' ole megayacht. This is important because many of the folks driving down here have the unfortunate habit of falling asleep if stopped in traffic for more than a minute or two [very hard to detect, since even upright all that can be seen from the rear are two white-knuckled fists on the oversized steering wheel and a small tuft of blue hair, if any].
