Those people didnt have key roles in proceedings of this type. In fact I had never heard of Patty Murray until a few months ago. I dont know what Hastings background is. My sense is this - if some congressmember is not electable to high office based on their credentials then they shouldnt have a leadership role in assessing someones performance in high office. I dont care if its a republican or democrat.
