A friend emailed this to me. Think it came from First Albany Equities.
"National Instrument's third-party channel is building success in the
industrial arena. One very exciting technology, electric power management and
quality test, is under development at reseller TAVA technologies using National
Instruments solutions. With Y2K and deregulation uncertainty in the electric
utility market, manufacturers are actively seeking power management and power
quality test systems to minimize network failure."

Local MEP office not to carry TAVA CD

I have an issue I have been questioning concerning the Local MEP office. The local MEP office here in Minnesota has decided not to carry the TAVA PlantY2KOne CD. This disturbed me and I have made numerous calls into TAVA to have them resolve this issue.

Minnesota has been a rich breading ground for spawning new Industry. It has been the birthplace of many breakthroughs in various Industries including the worlds first Super Computer with CRAY Ind. as well as the development of the first Pace Maker. The Computer Industry and MedTech industries along with many other companies such as 3M, Cargill,Deluxe Corp.,General Mills,Pillsbury, Hormel(Spam),Toro have all been birthed in MN. To not give small business access to the same Y2K assessment is to possibly cut out future business with possible future Fortune 500 Companies. Hopefully the local MEP office will have a change of heart. If they were to understand the vast difference TAVA Plant Y2KOne has over something like www.vendor2000 in speed as well as the 100% guarantee TAVA offers to its clients. TAVA's Data base has information on approximately 400,000 unique items worldwide and maintains status updates at its research center with over 40 full-time Engineers updating any new items. I believe the MEP agreement is one of the many jewels in TAVA's possession. And a lucrative jewel at that considering the MEP agreement is a pure profit endeavor for TAVA since they already have the Data Base. The lure of bigger contracts has to be tempting, but the long term profitability which this MEP deal brings into TAVA's bottom line has far too much potential to dismiss. Especially in the home State of the Artist formally known as Prince, and more recently a Governor formally know as "The Body" resides and is able to kick any other Governor's @ss. <g>
