Jeff, I'm really surprised that GNET never thought it important enough to secure addresses related to theirs for this exact reason. Just my opinion.

Thanks Jeff. Actually, it's the listserv function on the MarketWatch site, not the live chat, that's an interesting application. Here's how it will work: All messages that are posted via the bulletin board function of a specific thread are simultaneously sent as an e-mail message to all registered users of the thread who requested e-mail. Likewise, messages are posted directly to the bulletin board simply by responding to an e-mail message that was sent from the thread. The advantage to the user is that it takes less time to retrieve e-mail than to navigate to a web page containing a bulletin board.

Regarding the 400-500 businesses per day registering for Hypermart: Do you count the weekend when computing that figure? (There's no need to answer that question.) Here's why I ask: I think it would be completely legitimate to base it on Monday-Friday, in which case the per day numbers would be higher. Normally I wouldn't be a proponent of that kind of hype, but in GNET's case, a higher stock price would allow the comapny to expand its acquisitions.

I noticed there are ads on the registered patrons home pages. What was the catalyst that sparked that decision.

I also sent you and your brother an email concerning content, could you please address it?

Jeff Dryer and Go2Net management, I have started a discussion thread under Go2Net's Finance channel called 'Go2net: User Suggestions to Improve Your Site'. The purpose is to let management be aware of constructive suggestions from a user's perspective that can improve Go2net's various properties. This will be a free way for Go2net to reap the benefits of knowing what is on the minds of users or your properties: free advice, if you will, from the users of your product. I hope Go2net management and Go2net users will frequently use my new thread. Thanks.
