The timing is just a little too perfect, isn't it? Can't wait to see Clinton's chin jut when he addresses the American people on TV. He can really do a lot of facial expressions! Darn good actor. HiTech

It's really interesting. I think its in Saadam's best interest to keep a weakling like Clinton in office. So when it looks like his old friend is going out, Saadam calls up and says, "Hey big Bill, I'll help prolong the impeachment process and maybe you'll sneak out of it. Why don't I kick out the inspectors again. Then you can hit me with a few bombs, nobody gets hurt. You look presidential with a small p, and I'm the marter again. Hey we both make out". What a sitcom. T *OT* Indeed, The more amazing thing is how little people remember history, Remember Pearl Harbor ? The American high command KNEW the Japanese airplanes were coming.... How amazing that all the aircraft carriers were out of the harbor at the time of the attack. Incidentally, in a naval battle, your aircraft carriers are the key to victory. Roosevelt needed a reason to inflame the American people and get them off the "isolationist" sentiment that at the time it prevailed. And what about Vietnam.... All those American soldiers killed and wounded, what difference was made, at the time and/or now... None. The soldiers of course are not to blamed, they are the real heroes, unfortunately, in the eyes of the politicians, they are mere tools... politicians, what bunch of bastards, they make me sick ! Politicians will sell off their mother in exchange for power, for them it is an addiction. We, the people, it is about time to get tell them to fck off.... I can go on, but I won't... And why is it that I know about Pearl Harbor, me a mere peasant ? Because a close relative was the U.S. Colonel that received the message about the Japanese. Upon questioning him about the Nixon debacle, he laughed and said: "they all do it and have been doing it for a long time, he simply got caught." Indeed, what a farse.... In time, free markets, will stamp out the effect of politicians, and about time it is. "You will never have peace until you kick Nationalism out of the human race" Bernard Shaw z.
