You should never use a market order, if you want to sell place a limit order to sell at the ask, this will show up on isld and hopefully some greedy person will take the bait. Else if you place a market order it is routed to a que where a human looks at isld, selectnet, instinet, determines the best course of action and selects the best system to place the trade.

Know how the system works and work around by use limits orders and have the computer do the work for you. They are faster.
