P-Com, Inc. Announces Network Services Purchase Orders Valued in Excess of $1 million from Ericsson, Italia
CAMPBELL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 29, 1998--P-Com, Inc. (Nasdaq National Market:PCMS), today announced network services purchase orders valued in excess of $1 million from Ericsson, Italia.
These purchase orders are a part of a signed frame agreement valued in excess of $9 million covering services to be supplied by P-Com.
Ericsson is a systems integrator providing services to Wind, the third company licensed to provide mobile telephone services in Italy.
The purchase orders are for the provision of site construction, BTS deployment, and antenna installation services for Wind, and are an example of P-Com's efforts to broaden and strengthen its existing core customer base.
P-Com's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, George P.
